The Singular Space brings you hot new tunes for those sultry summer nights

Every summer has a soundtrack. At The Singular Space, we think that’s true of spaces, too. There’s a track for every season and time of day. That’s why we’ve launched a new Spotify playlist, packed with tunes guaranteed to make it a summer to remember. Our selection invites you to look forward with a new sense of optimism, or simply to kick back and unwind. Feel free to pick and choose according to your mood, the room you’re in or what you happen to be doing.

In partnership with the agency SonandoVoy and its musical director, Ale Acosta, who helped curate our previous playlist, we can’t wait to introduce you to ‘Sunset Vibes’, a new playlist comprised of 20 tracks. It features music by both emerging artists – like Iseo & Dodosound and Gabriel Garzón Montano – and superstars such as Jorge Drexler, with a dreamy version of ‘Mediterráneo,’ and Bonobo, back with a blend of his own inimitable style and transportive world electronica beats. We’ve also made room for some throwbacks to Ibiza’s golden age of clubbing, and old forgotten gems like Paloma San Basilio’s ‘Contigo’.

‘This playlist is inspired by the incredible sundown events I’ve hosted right by the ocean in Cadiz, the Canary Islands, Malaga and Menorca, trying to find the perfect track for the moment the sun sinks over the horizon,’ says Ale Acosta.

In addition to his role as musical director at SonandoVoy, Ale Acosta is a member of the group Fuel Fandango. He has produced tracks for well-known artists including Enrique Morente, Buika, Muchachito, Juancho Marqués and Love of Lesbian, and composed scores for TV series such as Arde Madrid and Toy Boy.
